Jeremy was born in Humble, Texas and raised in the Houston area. At a young age, a series of seizures left him with Optic Atrophy in both eyes. As a result, his performance in grade school and college were negatively affected as he learned to focus on what he was not able to do. After dropping out of college and working with his family as a bookkeeper and small business consultant, this began to change.

Returning to college with a new found confidence, he began self-advocating and found the support he needed to maximize his success. This resulted in his GPA rising and eventually graduating Summa Cum Laude from Sam Houston State University. He then pursued his Master’s degree at SHSU and obtained his License in School Psychology. Since then, he has worked as an LSSP assisting parents and students in learning to maximize their success despite their disabilities.
